Ornamental Insecticide

Ornamental Insecticide  is an application that we begin applying in June and continue through late in July.  This depends on temperatures and the onset of insect activity.  We use systemic insecticides which control the targeted pests using the vein system of the plant to carry the chemical throughout the plant.  When the chemical becomes part of the plant, feeding insects die when they feed on the plants.  Using a systemic insecticide allows the plant to be protected for a much longer period of time that simple contact insecticides. This is a single charged application that protects plants for the entire season.
